Is Clean HD mod still current and viable?

I am a noob at flashing new mods. I found Clean HD 2.0 and it seemed have what I want. It is very lean and allows you to have 5 widgets across rather than the default 4 (very minor I know but if this is available by default I don't need to install yet another app). If this is a dead MOD is there a similar one I could try?
