I received the new Costco coupon book yesterday.

Towards the back, it says starting Sept 15, the Verizon - DROID CHARGE will be up to
$130 off. Their current price is $199. Does this mean it will become $69?

Thanks! :)

it very well could, there have been a bunch of good deals floating around lately.

No. $199 is the current rebate price. The new $130 off is from the total warehouse price.

I'm at home so I don't know the warehouse price offhand but I'm sure it'll be a good deal. (You get a free case, car charger, & screen protector with every costco phone too.)

I think the discount is off the full Verizon "retail" 2 year contract price which is $299. That would make the upcoming sale price $169. At least that's what I thought when I read the ad. AmazonWireless had the Charge for $119 on a 2 year renewal when I picked one up a few weeks ago.

but Costco's website has been selling the Droid Charge for $179 for quite a while...
so $169 is only $10 off that... hardly a deal worth putting in their coupon book? :D
