Is each frame of video the same resolution as the pictures the Replenish takes?

The pictures themselves are already pretty awful, but if videos aren't any more crappy, it'd be easier for me to take a video and pull frames from it as pictures. This seems like it'd be crappy for some reason regarding motion blur or something, but I don't really know anything about recording video in general.

what u see is what u get, same camera, therefore still pics and video most likely same resolution. if anything the video would be worse due to taking more power and memory

I'm not sure what the exact resolution is, but I can confirm that video from the camcorder is lower resolution than still images from the camera.

The Replenish's video is only 352 x 288 pixels (a.k.a. CIF), which is far less than its 2M pixel photos which are about 1200 x 960.
