Is EAS synchronising the mail on an exchange mailserver immediatly when i start my android Phone?

I want to know if EAS works immediatly after starting my phone or does it take a while before eas starts synchronising?

Unless you're using Push, that would depend on the email client. The server can't know that your phone is on unless the client contacts the server first, to tell it that it's available.

That's my qeuestion. Does Activesync starts synchronising immidiatly after a reboot or does this take a few minutes? Push is not used.
