Is Galaxy app asking me to update an app that does not exist?

Galaxy app is asking me to update Yahoo Finance for Edge but when I looked for the app in my apps list I can't find it. When I click "show system apps" there is a Yahoo Finance app but from what I can tell it seems to be a different app to the one they want me to update. I'm really confused by this and i hope someone can clarify what is going on.:-

Also out of curiosity why do I have Yahoo News, Finance and Sport system apps? I have never downloaded a Yahoo app. Are they somehow connected to another app?

Thanks in advanced to any help given, I'll really appreciate it:D.

If you are using AT&T as your provider, then those were likely preloaded.

If you do not use those apps, then ignore the update.

I had that update on my Note 9, it's one of the edge panels that was preinstalled on the device, not technically a stand alone app.

AT&T doesn't operate in my country so no they are not my provider. But if it is preloaded why can't I find it in my apps list?

Just to clarify, are you saying it is part of some software or code in the edge panel?

What I am wondering is if I did update it will I end up with a stand alone app that I cannot uninstall? And if so how to I get rid of the update notifications?
