Is Galaxy Tab S compatible with 5Ghz bandwith on router?

Welcome to Android Central! Which Tab S? The 8.4 or 10.5 version? Or is it the Tab S2?

The original Tab S is listed as being dual-band, so it should work with 5 GHz.
