Is Google Nexus 7 (2013) worth buying vs the Google Nexus 7 (2012) ?

I believe the original poster clarified that he/she already has the 2012 edition. The question is do the improvements justify upgrading and the general consensus is no unless you have money to burn or a good home for the 2012 to go to. :)
Missed that part of the OP's second post...Thanks for the heads-up :)

So actually my Google Nexus 7 (2012) is um messed up so I'm sending it to Asus in hopes of a replacement. And what I was planning to do was to sell it somewhere for a good price and then purchase the Nexus 7 (2013). Where do you think I could get a good price for it ?

eBay is always a solid bet for a reasonable return. They take a small commission, but it'll be a quick, easy sale. This link will give an idea of what they've actually been selling for (you can hit filters on the left to help narrow it down to your specific model, i.e. 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, w/ or w/o carrier support).

You might get a little more selling it locally or through something like craigslist if you aren't in a rush, but bear in mind that the second-hand market value of these is dropping over time, and will take considerable hits as each newer competitive model becomes available.

I have not found it so clear cut. Gen 2 is quicker and smother, but Gen 1 was good anyway. I find Gen 1 more comfortable to hold and touch issues with Gen 2 send me mental, so I find I pick up my Gen 1 more often.
Regarding touch issues, Gen 2 is hopeless with a touchpen while Gen 1 has no issues at all. I am hoping for an ota update to fix touch issues as I know I am not alone, but if it's hardware I am stuffed. Both are fine with finger touch.

That's exactly what I did. My wife inherited the 2012 version.

Same here, just ordered the (2013) Nexus 7 32gb for my self and am going to pass down the (2012) Nexus 7 16gb to my sister.
