Is it it normal that the Huawei p9 makes a 'mechanical' sound every time de camera app launches?

I have just bought the Huawei p9 and I'am surprised at the subtle noise it makes everytime the camera launches. It is not the shutter sound when taking a picture, it is a sound when you launch the camera app, it also happens with other apps when you launch the camera from within (facebook) but not with all (not with whatsapp). Is this sound normal?
