Is it me or is EVO 3D gonna be released the 4th week in June.

umm the playbook is dated for the week of may 25th. aka that was the training guide for last week. Usually sprint phones come out a week after the training . Which means the 4th is highly plausible.
To go along with that, I know some people have questioned why the Evo 3d isn't listed among the devices coming soon but that could be because it its coming out on 6/4/11 and the time frame for the devices coming soon starts on 6/5/11. Makes sense to me but pure speculation.

From what I heard, Sprint had intended an earlier launch. Like all business' that failed and it was pushed and pushed. I told my Rep a month ago it would be late June and said said early June. From what I am seeing and educated guessing/ based on experience. June 19 to 26 ish.

Yes and that is nice, Sprint is leveling the playing field for their NON BIG BOX retailers. Which is great!!!!!!! My EXP at BB is and always is poor service. That want to sell you a few in 10 min and never see you again. ( I worked there too )

Honestly, the fun was over about a week ago for me. I'm so damned anxious. It's starting to have a negative impact on my life. It's not even June yet! I check this site as well as others at least 8 times a day waiting for the update. Once June 4th comes and goes without a release, I am going to be so much worse. If in fact it is pushed back to late June, I don't know what's going to happen to me. I don't have a phone as I just got back to the states after finishing school abroad and have already waited 2 months without a cell phone waiting for this little animal to be released into my hands. I have admittedly issues. :'(

I think that because BB, RS, and Sprint stores are already taking pre-orders. and others saying that this playbook is saying that they are already in week 4 of the playbook., not meaning week 4 of June, like it originally looked like to me. I do believe that June 4th is now out of the question.

Do you guys think it's possible that sprint has received so many preorders from their various retailers that they are just going to release the product instead of announcing a release date a-la (in some cases, hate to say it) apple? By following some forums and usual tendencies of sprint maybe they're changing their strategy in this case?
As in... Sprint: "we would like to say that we are releasing the evo 3d as of... RIGHT NOW!"

EJG, I feel your pain, especially since you have no phone at all! Sign up with another carrier and cancel in 30 days....at least you have a phone that way, just get a cheapo flipper or something?

Nobody really knew about the Motorola XPRT, maybe noone cared, but without any fanfare, it's launching this weekend. Same for their first WP7 phone, no big deal was made around it, and you would think it's a fairly majore release since it was the first WP7 on a CDMA carrier.

Lol. Thanks for the info. I'm contemplating getting a NS4G for the time being and taking advantage of 30 day return policy. Just gotta start researching the fine print to not end up in a bind and not lose my preorder status' (studentrate AND bb).
Any real good reviews up yet? Videos I mean. Iv seen almost all the ones from ctia or what ever it was called.
So any others worth watching?
Lots of reviews for the HTC Sensation, but nothing for the Evo3d itself. Hopefully it won't be too much longer!!
