Okay, every time I wanna download a rom. And if its on mediafire the URL starts to load to website, then it just stops. I've done everything from reboot, to resetting my phone. So idk

Could be the browser you are using simply won't load the page. I have seen sites not load when using Opera Mini, but work fine using Skyfire. A place like mediafire I believe has a popup within the page with the download button, so that might be the cause of your problem.


Edit: Just clicked on a mediafire ROM with Opera Mini and only got a blank white page. Copied the URL and tried it with Skyfire and it loaded the page normally.

Media fire if giving people on phones problems. You need to have your browser user agent set to desktop, or a desktop browser. I use qq browser and the Firefox user agent as plain old desktop gave me the same non-loading issue

on stock ICS browser hit the menu button and click request desktop view and mediafire works every time

Got it to work with desktop view.. but whats been going on mediafire?

+1 to the "desktop view" suggestion. If I use the stock GB browser it won't open. But, I use Dolphin HD with the "Toggle Desktop" add-on. After switching to the desktop view, it downloads every time.

When u press download an u it says download startin, refresh the browser an press download again an it'll download it.. always works for me

When downloading press and hold on the green download button, then choose save link or something like that. Always works.
