is it ok if I don't use the LTE connect?

I wasn't getting all my signal bars using the LTE network mode, so I changed it to 4G/3G/2G network mode. I just want to know if its ok to not use the LTE network.

Why wouldn't it be? I don't see the world exploding for using other options besides LTE
