Is it ok to clear the Used Space in my S4?

is it ok to clear the "Used Space" in my S4?

my S4 Used Space is currently at 6.72 GB, more than the System Memory's 6.3. I have a lot of photos to move to my pc, but in the meantime, I know they are taking up much room. I occasionally clear cached data. also, how do I check the Android version? ty!

The Android version is usually in the "About Phone" screen under settings.

Have you considered using the Google Photos service? You can have it set to automatically back up your pictures and videos... and once stored, you can delete the local copies... Its a great service and does its thing without much effort.
