Is it okay if I flash another country's stock rom?

My S4 Mini i9192 is currently running cm12.1 and I want to revert back to the stock rom, but there's a problem. In my country, the latest version of Android for my phone is Android 4.2.2 and I'm no way in hell using that again, so I am considering getting a 4.4.2 stock rom from sammobile and flash it via Odin, is that okay? I mean will it affect apps, will the phone misbehave or something? Oh and another question! When I install it, all I have to do is just get the zip and do it via Odin, right? No need to factory reset or format the phone... Wipe data or anything?
