I was wondering because I have heard that it may cause light leakage. Is this true?

I haven't heard of anything like that happening.

I think that if there's light bleed its gonna be there no matter the brightness it'll just be more or less noticeable.

What brightness level do you use? I find max brightness to be overkill on my eyes, although it does make the display amazing. What's the lowest brightness level you can set it at before you really start noticing a difference (although this probably depends on personal preference)?

Yes, but it will zap your battery faster. The screen backlighting uses more power than anything else (with normal/typical varied use)

No
