AC Question

Hi,

I just got my brand new LG Tribute yesterday. I love it so far, but I do have one slight problem with it and I was wondering if there was a fix for it? I'm aware that there is no LED light on the phone, which is fine.

But is there a way to set it so that the screen automatically lights up when receiving a text message? Kind of like the screen automatically turns on when a call comes in, stays on when the person leaves a voicemail, and then times out upon inactivity for however long?

So basically a way to know if you have a text without having sound or vibration on and without having to click the power button to check. Does that make sense?

Welcome.
Many of the 3rd part SMS apps give that option when a text comes in.
I use Textra now and have used GO SMS Pro in the past and both allow the screen to come on when a new text arrives.
Check those out and see if one, or another, works for you.

Metro Notifications works great for my lg tribute, thats what I use when I want my screen to come on also echo notification lookscreen is a good app for that.
