Is it possible to downgrade android lollipop to android kitkat on moto g (1st generation)

after updating to android 5 my phone has become so slow.I even tried factory reset but it still working slow, I want to downgrade the updated android version. Is there any solution for this issue???

I am pretty sure you cannot go back to KitKat. It's not allowed.

Yes you can if you are rooted.
