My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 OS was updated to v. 4.4.2 / Kit Kat. The resolution was inferior, so I tried to downgrade to the original v.4.1.1 using Odin3 v.3.04 and the necessary MD5 file.
The operation has failed repeatedly. I've re-downloaded all required files in case of corruption and come to the same result every time - (message copied below). Then I came across a thread that says once a phone has been updated to 4.4 it can't go back.
Currently the only display I get on my phone is "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." It's stuck, mate.
Is there anyway to bring my phone back to life, either with OS 4.4 or, preferably, 4.1?
