Is it possible to enable adb on the OnePlus One with a broken screen?

Hello, recently the screen on my OPO shattered leaving no ability to respond to touch. (So probably a digitizer gone bad) My question is, Is it possible to enable adb on the OnePlus One with a broken screen so I can enable usb debugging and then take complete control over the phone? I read in the xda forum that it is possible via the default.prop I honestly don't have a clue what that means. So, is this possible or is there no hope?

If the screen is functional but the digitiser is busted then you could just get a mouse and plug it in using USB otg to enable it through settings.
