Android Central Question

I can't be the only person having trouble with auto correct and auto complete. It doesn't correct a word if I'm even just one letter off and if I chose a word from the auto complete bar mid word it just adds the word to what I have already typed. Also if it highlights a word to switch to an emoji it will leave the word. Keyboard worked wonderfully for years, we developed quite a relationship, it knew what I liked, I knew what it liked and now that is all gone. I don't want to teach a different keyboard how to grow big and strong

Hi there,
Open Google play store> menu> settings
Select " Do not update Apps"
Then go to settings>storage>apps/application manager> Gboard> uninstall update and use factory version.
If you want a prior version,
Open the link scroll down to the version and install,

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/gboard/

Before this,
Open Google play store> menu> play protect> select ". Improve harmful app detection> enabled.
