Is it possible to remove the INTERNAL memory on a LG g4?

Phone is stuck in a boot loop, already tried booting to safe mode, recovery mode, etc. will not work. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not backing up anything...definitely a lesson learned. My only problem now is that I have a replacement G4 coming from sprint in a few days...I have my entire life on my current phone, irreplaceable pictures, videos, etc. I need to know if it is possible to pull the internal memory out of the phone and have the files transferred.

Two options, the freezer method - stick your phone is the freezer and quickly get your data off, or the baking method. Literally bake your phone in an oven (motherboard only of course). The freezer method isn't destructive, and the baking method can have dramatic results in a good or bad way. It can allow the phone to work as normal for a day or more OR "fry" the components of the phone so it won't power up at all.

I would place it in the freezer for 10 minutes +. Make sure the battery is 100%. If it boots connect with USB cable to a laptop or PC and get the data off ASAP. With the freezer door open just a crack. My G4, SN 505xxxxxxxxxxxxxx is still working fine, but this is what I've ready anyway.
To answer the original question - no you can't remove the
main memory to transfer. Maybe the NSA could, but cost would be prohibitive for your phone.

Baking is pretty risky, but the concept works in theory. I used it on my graphics card a few times. In that case, I removed it from the laptop, and removed all the protective film and such so only the bare card went in the oven. I wouldn't do that with a phone, even with the battery removed. Too much of a chance you'll melt the plastic before it gets hot enough to reflow the solder.

Baking isn't going to work unless you remove the motherboard. If you bake anything else it will melt.

And no the internal memory is never removable. I have no idea why you thought it would be.

Memory is built in to the motherboard. Only way is to replace it as a whole. Assuming you know how. Otherwise you better contact your carrier or LG and request for a warranty claim.

It would be nice if the storage was removable/modular like a computer hard drive. It would save a lot of frustration when something else goes bad in the phone.

The motherboard has to be removed from the phone, only the motherboard is baked. I updated my original post. It's not my intention to provide detailed instructions here on how to bake a phone to recover from boot loop, or to recommend this method. For more information Google "bake lg g4 bootloop" or similar.
