Is it possible to reuse or save text messages like a template?

Hello,

Noob to smart phones here. On my dumb phone I had the ability to make templates that could be used over and over again. I do not know how to do this and would like to. Here's the scenario: Every morning the family does a "Good Morning" text to the rest of the family. That way we all know everyone is up, alive, at work, at school, etc. In order for us to do this now we all have to compose the text message every time and then send it.

Can templates be created and saved for use over and over again so you can just select it and send?

Well I appreciate you taking the time to do that!

I did figure out a way to at least shorten the steps. Because messages are threaded, you can click and hold on a message previously sent, then "copy text". then click and hold on the type to compose field and "Paste text". It reuses the same addresses so then all you have to do is send. Not quite as fast as just selecting a preset message but it's close.

I am going to try that Canned SMS app too. Thanks again!

Or you can just lock your text? ... Its on stock SMS app, and just makes it to where you dont delate those texts when delating all other ones.

To create an SMS (text) template on your Samsung Galaxy S5, touch the Messages icon, then upper right corner touch menu (3 dots on top of one another) choose Settings, then QUICK RESPONSES and use any of the existing ones or create your own using the + sign at the top. Then when creating a text message, tap in the text area, again go to the upper right menu, choose QUICK RESPONSES AND way to go! It took me a whole afternoon to sort that, even EE didn't know how to do it. I think a medal should be cast for me.

I created the next generation SMS template app called EasyText - . Here you can draft any message and you can share message multiple times. You can also draft address, bank account details and more. Easy Text android app not only allowing us to share throw sms, but you can use any messengers like whatsapp, hike etc and social media account as well. I will add more support in feature. I have a Samsung S7 and I can't find the Easy Text that you talked about in a post quite some time ago. Can you help me? Is there something new out there that will allow me to resend texts multiple times?

I'm using an app called Pop Template, you can save text template that you frequently use. Not only for SMS but also for other chat apps.
