is it possible to switch my sim card from my moto g to a samsung galaxy s 3?

i have a samsung galaxy s 3 that im not using and my moto g is broken and starting to not work the best. i would like to know if it is possible to switch my sim card from one to the other.

Welcome to Android Central! They both use the microSIM size, so it should fit. As long as the S3 is compatible with the carrier's network bands, it ought to work.
