Why does the Red color appear orange on the Samsung exclusive colors page?

Why does the Red color appear orange on the Samsung exclusive colors page?

I want the deep vibrant red.

I wanted the deep red also, but it never materialised.
I've had black, white, silver and blue most recently so it's time for a new colour.
I wasn't sure which colour to get but when the 3 new colours appeared at the last minute the red stood out, it's like a rust red to me but I can see why people see orange in it.

I went with Burgandy. I don't know why Samsung never went with the deep red. Would have been great and popular.

Burgundy is the next winner for me. Unique.

It looks more of a "Tequila Sunrise" Orangy Red. That would have been a good name.

Too bad the black painted frame instead of Chrome that's on the White. I love the Chrome trim on my Mystic White N20U and a reason I'd stick with White on the S22U.

Welcome to Android Central! I agree - the red looks different in various pictures. Hopefully the colour is *actually* red!

Yeah the chrome trim on my white Note 10 still looks appealing to this day.

The brown S21U I had looked amazing.

I got the Burgundy S22 which has another uniform trim. Either the contrast chrome trim or a matching trim .

I don't know why they went with a black trim on that.

I like the red/black combo, I've done most other colours and my current Note 20 Ultra in white is another great colour with the chrome, but I think this will be a change and I'm looking forward to it.

In some pics it looks more like "Brick Red?" to me. Too bad doesn't have that Apple "Product Red" they used in Older iPhones.

Brick Red sounds accurate. It seems orangey. Not cherry red.

The photos made it look red-orange to me. If it was more like a deep/dark red I would have went with that one.

Possibly because Samsung wants to see how many of each will be ordered before they manufacture them.
