So back in October, I rooted my optimus v with superuser and had no problems until a few months after in which i woke up one morning to find my phone in an lg symbol boot loop. I'm finally wanting to try to fix the phone but i have erased almost all the android files on the micro sd card. Would it still be possible to fix the phone without those android files? Or am i out of luck at this point? I can't get into recovery mode but i do have access to emergency mode. I also have the lg drivers installed.

I just tried the first link you gave me. I placed the xionia_cwma_12518.3 onto the root of the micro sd and tried the home+vol down+pwr but nothing different happened. Screen just went black and continued the loop. I'm going to check out the second link.

You have to write (Install) the recovery using ADB and Flash_Image. You can't just put it on your SD Card and expect it to work.
