Is It Worth Rooting and Installing CM 4.2.2?

I don't believe that Casual will work with 4.1.2, but may want to check this Sticky http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...98722-mac-root-tool-s3-casual-verizon-s3.html or post the same question there. Someone may have a better understanding than me on options.

Also, the other thread I posted above contains ideas and options to consider... http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...-no-all-mac-way-root-galaxy-s3-jellybean.html

Thanks for the reply! I already did follow your links. The first one doesn't work with 4.1.2 and the second one isn't an option for me because I can't afford to buy the windows software for my mac, though it is a genius idea.
I'm just resolved to waiting until my Toshiba Satellite gets fixed and then I can just use Odin which seems like the best way to go about it anyways.

Yes, I tried Casual as well just to see what would happen. Appreciate and respect the cost aspect on your laptop. Odin in a Windows VM has certainly worked well for me.
