Rooted, S-off, GPE Rom, running 5.0.1 - took about 2 hours, do not regret. Followed youtube instructions and used Sunshine for S-off because firewater wasn't able to work with me device.

Doing this, you also change your phone's CID (So you get android updates directly as soon as they are released) which is easy as pie. But again, I have no real knowledge, I followed youtube videos in a step by step fashion. But even so, I'd say it is definitely worth. GPE lollipop is clean as hell, and it is so nice to be able to uninstall bloatware.
