Is Juice Defender worth it?

I've seen quite a few people talk about using Juice Defender as a battery managing system in their phones.

Is it really worth the money? How much does it increase battery life?

I just bought the extended battery for my Inspire, but am wondering if I should be using this app, too.

Any thoughts?

I noticed an increase in my battery life. Probably around 25 - 30% better since using Juice Defender.

My only complaint is that sometimes my touchdown email doesn't come in until i bring it out from sleep

It's free...

Yes, but there's a paid version, too, I believe.

In either case, I think I'll give it a try. I know the paid version allows for extra customization, but I'll start out with the free and go from there. Anyone have any customization suggestions?
