I rooted my phone and all was good. Then installed lp and played with it a while. The past two days my battery hasn't lasted more than 5 hours, 4 of which are spent in my pocket. I don't have anything extravagant going on with my phone, a sorta minimalist theme. In my battery usage I see nothing outta the ordinary, just the screen using up most of the battery. I'm not really sure where my battery is going and haven't seen others with a battery issue due to lp. Is there a way to find out more exactly what is using my battery? Any help would be appreciated. I gotta go charge my phone now brb.

Try an app like spare parts or system panel lite. Both show what is running and spare parts will also show what runs when the phone is asleep, etc. Another thing is to make sure you don't have Sense stuff running in the background. Even though you use LPP you need to stop the widgets and stuff in Sense. I use LPP and have no battery issues. I also ran the script on the BAMF Rom that removes a lot of the Sense UI.

Install CurrentWidget and turn on logging. Report back what you're seeing when the phone is idle. Most are seeing about 30-40 mA. 100-300 mA while idle means something is running rogue.

Also, can try installing Android System Info to look at CPU usage, and SystemPanel (paid, but worth it) gives historical CPU, mem, and battery info. All good tools for troubleshooting these kinds of things.

Looking at the battery monitor widget my phone runs average 275mA while in my pocket. Losing about 20% battery/hour. I will go though your suggestions and see if I can figure out what it is.

Ok so from the top, if the sleep usage in spare parts is the "partial awake" CPU usage then there is almost nothing there. As far as the sence I took all the widgets off. Is it possible to freeze sence though titanium? Though I doubt that's the problem.

installed current widget, gonna let it sit for a half hour and see if anything pops up. figure 10% of my battery will be a good barameter of whats going on. this ones got me good so far, i see my battery going down really quickly but so far nothings picking up on whats doing it.

ok current widget, sat for a half hour went down about 10 %. mV anywhere between 260 and 450. if current widget lists the programs from most used to least then the top on is the OS which doesnt pull that much

Keep in mind that battery life has been terrible for the past 24hrs due to the signal issues.

Been having the same problems, man. I've been fighting a 100% pegged CPU (Android System is the culprit). Got that to settle down, but my idle current won't. My upload arrow is almost constantly on, sunc goes off every few minutes, and idle current is over 500mA.

I'm about 99% sure that these issues are network related, and out of our control. I started seeing them on Sunday afternoon, then LTE went to crap this week, and hasn't been good all day. I've been cycling between 3G and 4G throughout the day, in places I've been fine with LTE.

I wanna say let's just ride it out, but it's getting really annoying finding your battery at 50% after taking it off the charger less than an hour earlier. :\

Anyone wanna help dig through some logs? :)
