Bought a ten-foot micro-USB cable that didn?t work right. They took it back, but ever since, other cables didn?t feel like they went in right even though they worked. Then I borrowed a charger and its connection apparently bent the conductor pins in my phone port.
Now I have to drop the phone at Sprint on the way to work and live without it until they replace the port. I don?t expect the warranty to cover this, nor the protection plan if I had it. I?m just curious if this is a known design soft spot, or if there are funky cable ends out there...
