Is moto x (no contract) from moto maker sim unlocked??

hey i wanted to buy a moto x 32gb from motorola website.
when i chose the no contract option in moto maker, i'm requested to select a carrier while checking out.
i selected gsm unlocked(with tmobile sim).
i have few doubts about this:
1)is this gsm unlocked?
if yes, would i be able to use the mob with international sim cards?
2)as it says tmobile sim is provided..is the mobile sim activated???
pls help me on this...

If you buy Verizon, it is SIM unlocked worldwide. Mine worked great in Mexico on TelCel, had 4G when available, etc. That said, while it works with ATT/T-Mobile, there's a good chance you'll have mostly 3G.

Can confirm. Brought my Verizon Note 3 to T-Mobile. When I was on LTE only had data, no voice. When on GSM/Global had HSPA+ (still faster speeds than Verizon's hahaha) and was able to make calls.
