Is My 2012 Nexus 7 dead?

My tablet will not turn on and it will not charge. What should I do to fix this?

It could be several things....
Did you run the battery flat? If you did sometimes you just have to plug it up and it may take a couple of days before it actually starts charging again then builds a charge.
The battery connection could have come loose.
The flash memory could have died.
What was the last thing you did with the tablet? We'll try to narrow down what the problem is

A couple of days ago I charged it to full capacity and I have not used the tablet at all since then.

Now I can turn it on and it is changing. The battery must have drained completely.
