is my M8 bigger than the usual size ?

Hello .

Well i got my M8 couple of days ago and loving it btw
so today i went to buy the dot view case and tried 4 of them , and all of them wont fit perfectly , the flip wont close and sit flat but the sales man told me it needs couple of days to settle in , i didn't want to risk it so i tried the double dip case and it wont shut properly ! it looked like the phone is bigger than usual , we tried maybe 3 of them and all same issue ! he was kinda shocked he didn't know what to do !
he suggested to speak to HTC or my provider it might a manufacture issue

any thoughts ?

Tempered glass screen protector? That was my issue.

Yes i do have one but the tempered glass , just a normal one !
although i don't see how it would affect the double dip case right ?

I have GLAStR Slim (0.4mm) glass screen protector on my M8, and when I bought a dot view case and used it, it wasn't closing probably on the screen, but after a week of use, it got good.

That's a very thick glass protector. Most are 0.3mm or less.

Yep, it is kinda thick and ruin the smooth flat surface of the M8, but it is the only glass protector I found in the stores for the M8 where I live.
