So I have the Battery Monitor app and it says my phone's battery can last for 18 hours on a full charge when I've seen people with two days of battery life. Also it's been two hours since I took it off the charger and it's already at 90% even though I only did a little Facebook browsing. I'm connected to Wi-Fi right now and I have GPS tracking turned off. Also I never "conditioned" it where you overcharge it for 10 hours.

I listen to music on it, play games, and use the internet on the 4G network on a normal day.

No nothing wrong.. using your phone on 4g will kill it quick on any device. Getting 18 hours is very good for what you said your using your device for.

Also from the looks of my phone it only charges and gives battery information in increments of 10%...so it calculates 10%..20%..30% and decreases the same way.

They report in 10% increments so in the 95/97% region your phone will say its at 90%.

4G will eat up battery. But you can't put a lot in the battery estimate. Its a good tool but if your use isn't consistent it gets thrown off a bit.

get badass battery monitor. I love it. shows 1% increments and a slew of useful info.

The battery reads in 10% increments, so you could be at, say 89% and it will show 80%. Dumb and mildly annoying, but at least it goes by 5% increments once you get below 20.

As for your usage, it doesn't sound off, but its hard to tell.

My last cycle I got about 36 hours of total up time, broken down with 4.5 hours of screen on time, only Bluetooth off, 25% 4G, 75% wifi, FB, Twitter, Gmail, texting, one 10 minute phone call over 4G, one download, and some minimal game playing (15 minutes). It had between 10 and 15% when I charged it.

People get all worked up over not getting 2 days.
The Maxx will get you through a full day 10-12 hours with battery to spare, quit worrying about it guys.

10-12 isn't good enough for the size of the battery. I could get 15+ everyday on my GS2 with a stock 1850 battery.

So far I'm getting 12-15 hours. Today's report was:

Android OS 31%
Display 23%
Wi-Fi 10%
Words w/Friends 6%
Phone Idle 6%
Cell standby 5%
Maps 3%
MediaServer 3%
rild 2%
Pandora 2%
Bluetooth 2%

I think I should be getting better than this, but if 4G really sucks up that much power then ok. What gets me is some apps are running in the background that I don't even want!

Sync Service
My Gallery
My Music
and sometimes that Verizon backup thing.

Its not so much about complaining/worry about getting through day, but its about the expectation of how long the battery should last. You don't buy a Porche and and not worry about how fast it goes if it can't beat a Hyundai in a race, so you shouldn't expect people to buy a phone with a great battery to just be happy it lasts as long as other, lower rated batteries.

Man people will complain about anything. Lol. They finally have a phone that gets you through 24 hours and now they want it to last damn near days. Smh what is so hard about plugging up when u sleep? I'm starting to think some of you guys are freakin batman or somethin..

From the best android phone PERIOD. Galaxy Nexus.

If u are having quick batt drain let it run all the way down until the phone powers off then recharge to 100%.
Unplug your phone let it run down to say 30% to 20% before you recharge it...
That should help considerable...
Heavy usage with data on playing a steady grapich intense game. I got 12hrs before my batt hit 30%
Same game with data off Im at 9hrs with 60% batt left...
24hrs is pretty darn good. Heck a co-worker brought the note in his same amount
of time is averaging 20% faster drain than the Maxx..........

update
34hrs 20 min and im at 10%
2hr 15 min talk time
4 hrs screen on high
1 hr cpu time
38 min gps

i bet with a little bit of effort you could squeez 3 days out of this thing .
