Is my Note 4 fast charging?

I've got a Note 4 and I use the included fast charger. Since I got the Lollipop upgrade a few weeks ago, I'm getting a confusing message when I drag down the 'status' screen.

It says Use Fast Charging -- Fast charger connected. (See attached screen shot below).

When it says 'Use Fast Charging', is the phone recommending that I TURN ON fast charging, or does it mean that it is actually USING fast charging? FWIW, I have the fast charging box checked in the "power saving" screen.

I don't normally watch the phone charge... I plug it in at night and unplug it in the morning, so I can't really tell if the charging time has become slower or not.

I have watched phones charge before, they are pretty boring. Watch it charge and you will see about 0-50% charge in 30 minutes, according to Samsung.

Just turn on fast charge, plug it in, and walk away.

If you have the box checked, then its on.

Thanks for the replies.. Also, I wonder if anyone else sees the same message on their LP Note 4 display when the fast charger is connected?

Yup, my N4 says what yours does. I just plugged it in and it was down to 4%. 80 minutes later it was at 92%, go figgure.
