Is my phone dead FOREVER !!!

This is what my phone does :
I pressed home, power and volume key, got an option to press volume up or down.
So I pressed up and then this comes on the screen.
If I press down the the galaxy note thing comes on, phone switches of and back on by itself and then has galaxy note again on scree. Repeat.

Its had this on the screen for hours now.
Should I give up and just take it to the store ?

What are you trying to do?
Have you tried just rebooting by holding the power button for a few seconds ? Or removing the battery to reboot phone?
It looks like you are in Odin mode ,,if I am remembering correct from my S3 days

im trying to switch it on and use it normally. but it either goes on and off by itself without even completing startup or it gives me this option. so i have no idea what to do because neither option are fixing it. this download screen has been on for hours now with no change
