I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930A. Before I describe the problem, I want to clarify. I did not root the phone, I didn't attempt to flash a custom ROM, I didn't attempt to install custom OS purposefully. This was a phone that I got a few days ago and it worked fine until one night it froze up, made a weird buzzing sound, and then rebooted. It worked a little but kinda froze up. Later it shut off by itself and when I tried to turn it back on it got stuck in a boot loop. I charged it and when I tried to force restart or get into recovery mode I somehow accidentally managed to get into download mode but didnt download anthing. It shut off the phone and it then went back to a bootloop. I couldnt get the phone into the recovery mode and after a while It became completely unresponsive. It doesn't boot on at all, its not recognized my PC, it charges but the LED doesnt light up. Is this phone hard bricked and did me putting it into download mode have something to do with it? Is there anything I can do besides send it back to the seller?
Thanks

That buzzing makes it sound more like it got wet inside (which can happen just from condensation - be outside on a hot day for a few hours, then walk into a very air conditioned place, and the inside of the phone is wet in a few minutes. Stupid, right? But it happens.

If you can't get it into download mode, the only recourse is to see if you can get your money back. Sorry.

Thanks for the reply.

That makes sense, but I don't get how it would happen. The phone was inside 95% of the time and it wasn't really exposed to humidity outside. If I send the phone back is my personal info still at risk even if its unresponsive and I can't do a factory reset. I've heard/read that the internal drive can be accessed sometimes.
