Is my phone safe to use?

Hi,
So i got the dreaded " your device is corrupted. It cant be trusted and will not boot." It restarted and it seems to be working better than it was before. I read up online about it and now im not sure if it is safe to use.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? That sounds like a message related to Verified Boot: https://source.android.com/security/verifiedboot. It could indicate that someone tampered with the phone.
