Is my phone tapped?

[Android Central Question]

I was just sitting with my phone online and all of a sudden I hear some voices coming from my phone. It was a man's voice and nothing was open so I have no idea where it ws coming from. As soon as I started looking for the sourse it stopped. Now as I was writing this I started hearing that staticy sound coming from my speaker. Like as if someone is on the other line breathing. As soon as I put it up to my ear it stopped. It's like as soon as it realizes I can hear it it stops. This just started today and I'm really scared.

Maybe. Go get a new Sim card and factory wipe /reset your phone with it out.
From a desktop pc, change your password for Google and enable 2 factor authentication.
Change any banking and other passwords.
Never let anyone access your phone, or install any links that are not yours.
