Is my Prime causing internet to go down?

So I got my prime last week thursday. I started noticing my internet going down every 5 mins and its making me mad. So my internet went down, i suspected it was prob my prime. So when it went down, i turned off my Primes wifi, and my internet just went back up. Normally every 5 mins my internet will go down for 1 minute.

I assume you mean the internet goes done for a different device like a laptop when you browse on your prime? If so you might have an ip address conflict. If so you could run the troubleshooter on the pc to see if it reports that. If that is the issue I can give you some ideas to help resolve the issue. Could you post more information as to how the internet is going down and on what devices? The only issue that comes to mind is dhcp and we need more info in order to help. Make sure you include info as to how you connect (cable modem, etc.)

I have never seen this issue. Would be fun to go to starbucks and kick all the ipad users off by using your prime. Lol

Have experienced bumpy internet also. However, after running all weekend just fine on a friends cable wireless router, I am convinced the problem is in my verizon mifi. I am now running the prime on bt connection with my htc incredible using pdanet and it also works smoothly.
