Is my RAM use excessive on Galaxy S5 ? / is the Task Manager as good as it seems?

By "left clicking" we can see how much RAM is currently being use, via the Task Manager. I do have a fair amount of apps downloaded, but I was surprised, as it appears that I am close to maxing out my RAM.

Are others seeing a similar amount of RAM usage on their phones ( see screen shots) ?

Is this normal ?

When I stop an app, I get the message....is is not safe to stop/end apps ?

Is it really unsafe to stop an app ?

Also, I really like that this phone has a built in Task Manager..... I haven't upgraded in a while and this is the first time I have seen a built in Task Manager. What do other folks think about the Task Manager functionality....are you using it ?

And trust me, you can set it where nothing will run in the background, but every time you open an app back up after closing it, it will have to restart the app
