Generally if you want device on launch or in the first batch, safe bet is to place the pre order as soon as it opens up. Sure there will be instances where some unfortunate orders gets delayed even if placed early in pre order. But majority cases you get on time delivery if you place within first 1 or 2 day of pre order. After that dates start slipping depending on color, carrier, storage size and other combinations. Happens with every pre order.

Just got a label created in FedEx Delivery Manager for a delivery slated on 8/30. That should be my Z Fold3, which was supposedly delayed until 9/23. Stoked!

Samsung's website says I am getting the watch Sept 2nd, Fedex says 8/30. Who knows?

Samsung website is useless, I would go by what your FedEx label says. More importantly once you actually get an origin scan you'll get the more accurate scheduled delivery date until then it'll just give you estimated date.

Mine changed to in process and cancel button disappeared yesterday evening. Label created today around noon. Hasn't been picked up yet but imagine (see: hope) I'll get a notification within the next hour or two of it getting shipped out.

That being said, I've seen people say they sat at 'in process' for a week or more so I think it really just depends.

FedEx Delivery Manager via the FedEx mobile app. Sign up using your residential address and it will tell you if any shipments have been created going to your house. Samsung order page still says 'In Process' but I can see they created a label for a 8/30 delivery.

Yeah mine just says weekday delivery. Which is supposedly Monday. Which works since I'll be off that next 3 days to play with the fold 3 and accessories lol

Exact same situation here. Chatted with Samsung 2 days ago when my order initially changed from 8/30 to 9/23 and they told me to ignore it and that the phone would still be delivered on 8/30. Chatted again yesterday and they changed their tune - now it won't be delivered until 9/23. Caused a minor stir about it and got told I'd be receiving a promo code for the hassle and the chat rep said she would 'notify fullfilment to prioritize this order'.

About 2 hours later order finally changed from 'preorder' to 'in Process' and the cancel button is gone. Date still says 9/23 though. FedEx shows a '(master)' tracking ID with pending delivery dates. Very curious to see if we get any sort of movement today.

Yeah it definitely seems like we can't really go by their estimated delivery dates on Samsung lol. Half the time app said one thing and website says another lol. Like my watch 4 goes from September 17th to October 1st and now to September 8th lol. Oh nice. Least they gave you a promo code. And yelp mine still says September 23rd but saw the tracking on FedEx app saying info sent to FedEx at 11:43am today while I was at work. Hasn't been picked up yet or scanned. Says package weighs 19lbs. That's with phone, trio wireless charger,, 2 smart tag+, case with spen and 25w wall charger. Hopefully ours will come Monday. Where is your going to if you don't mind me asking? Mine coming from Coppell, Texas and going to Georgetown, Indiana.

Edit: just got FedEx notification and email saying package picked up at 7:39pm in Irving, Texas. Hopefully you're next.

Edit: Samsung just sent me email saying it the fold 3, trio wireless charger, case with spen and wall charger has shipped and the 2 smart tags+ will ship later which is fine.
