Is Sam's Club deal best?

What time do you all plan on going to Sam's to pick up your new N7? The reason I ask is because I spoke with my store today and the folks that work the cell phone area aren't scheduled to be at work until 10am even though the email confirmation I received said my N7 is available for pick up between 7am and 8pm. Everyone should check with their local store and figure out what time the cell phone representatives show up to work if you plan on being an early bird.

I'll be there later in the day - no rush for me. Gotta work first.

I am really interested in knowing exactly what Sam's is going to charge those of us on 2-year contracts. Rumors range from $299 to $350.

I talked to the local Target that I pre-ordered the n7 through. They said the phones are delivered when the store opens on the 19th, but the person who actually receives the order won't be in at work until the afternoon..

I'm kind of worried that the Samsung pre-order gifts will be all used up by the time I submit my Target receipt on the 19th for the promotional!

Also my Target said they probably won't have phone cases for the n7 on the day that I pick it up so i ended up getting the Caseology leather bound case on Amazon.

I think it's 10am for sams but I'm calling tomorrow and Thursday to confirm as I'm traveling and stopping mid travel to grab it

I checked out on Best Buy and quit where it asked for payment info, so I could get an idea of the contract price. Looks like it's going to be $350. And $400 at carriers with a $50 mail-in rebate. My buddy works at Sprint and that's what he told me. If this is all true, looks to me that there's 0 good reasons to buy from a carrier store.

$299 on-contact on the VZW site.

I just got off the phone with the mobile department. They said they were going to call people who had pre-ordered to let them know their phone was ready. Very different from the pre-order email that I received (stating that you could come in first thing on Friday). I was planning on showing up about 7:30AM. I am a business customer and they open early for business members. I may stop by this evening to ask someone in person just to make sure.

Just called my Sam's Club and had to make an appointment to pickup my phone tomorrow - no walk-ins. They checked and could see me on the pre-order list. It's actually better for me to have a predefined time to buy it - hopefully less waiting around.

Hope this helps another Sam's Club buyer.

is this the first time Sam's has done pre orders? They seem to be all over the place about how to go about getting us our phones.

I just called and the lady told me all preorders placed after 5pm on the 10th are waitlisted. I placed mine on the 4th and STILL got waitlisted. Going to go there after work and yell at some people.

Just got off the phone with my Sams Club and they told me I can come by at 8am Friday to pick up my N7. Also they verified I was on the pre-order list.

this is ridiculous, everyone is being told different things. I will try and update after I go to the store later this afternoon.

Ok, just got a call from them telling me my phone will be ready to pick up first thing tomorrow. Woohoo!

I was in local Sam's Club today when the Verizon N7 phones were delivered. I'm picking mine up tomorrow. They already had Sprints, but all were sold

So here's the rub: I preordered at Sam's Club on the 4th, got an email saying I'm on the waitlist. I call today and they say they have no record of me preordering. Great. I go in and show them my confirmation email and they put a post-it note with my name on one of the Note 7 boxes. (She opened it up to show me it was Silver and I almost grabbed it and ran. So beautiful).

I set an appointment to come in and activate tomorrow morning at 11am. She said it's mine as long as someone who's on their preorder "list" (which I should be on but I'm not) doesn't call in to claim it. There are 4 of them, so all 4 would have to be claimed for me to get bumped off. It's dumb, yes, because I preordered so long ago and for whatever reason I'm not on the list, but she was very nice and helpful, and I have my fingers crossed that 4 out of the 15 on her list don't call back to confirm they're coming in tomorrow. If they do, I'm screwed, because I canceled my Best Buy preorder.

Good news is that out of the 15 on the list, she said around 5 were for AT&T and 5 for Verizon. So really, the 5 left on the list are for Sprint.

Just got this email from Sam's
