Is Spigen tough armor case protection good?

Is S8+ spigen tough armor case or spigen slim armor case good enough protection to protect screen crack/scratch if drop phone on floor?

Any good case to recommend? Prevent screen crack/scratch when drop. Preferably with kickstand if possible. Thanks.

I use the same. No screen protector. Working fine. I've only dropped it in the house on hardwood though. I say all this and will drop on concrete today. Maybe not.

Tough Armor is DEFINITELY better protection. I have them both. I don't use screen protectors though.

I have the Spigen Tough Armor on my S8+ with an ArmorSuit screen protector. I dropped the phone from shirt pocket level to a tile floor with just a thin mat and there was no damage to the phone. If you use a case like this and want a screen protector, you have to use the case-friendly ones, others will interfere.

ArmorSuit as I stated in my post. You have to be careful with curved screens, follow the directions and have patience.

Zagg saphire defense curve is great and case friendly.

The one for my S7E had thicker chin on each end to protect screen if you drop or even just want to flip the phone over on your nightstand, desk, whatever, but the one for my S8+ is not as prominent and it doesn't align properly on the upper volume rocker. I often push the upper volume and get nothing but squishing. I have to push just beneath where the pre-molded button is located on the case to get it to work.

The case is UAG plasma. It has a thicker lips than my spigen neo hybrid. My phones been dropping from desk, from waist etc into our concrete floor. It just bounce and no damage.

I love my UAG Pathfinder. It is similar to the Plasma model. The lip is probably 1mm above the screen.

I had a Spigen tough armor case on my S7 Edge and it didn't do anything to protect my S7 Edge from damage last Christmas Eve. The lower left glass shattered and the case even got some damage.

From day one on my S8+, I've had a OtterBox Comutter on it. The bottom and top parts of the case are hardened plastic unlike the the Spigen case that I had on my S7. I don't know if the Spigen cases have improved on those areas of the cases for the S8 but I would take that into consideration before buying a case.
