Is Sprint losing its signal strength lately?

Come on now do you make a habit of overpaying for things. Do you really think the CEO and shareholders are going to invest the extra money they get out of us back into the network? Its going straight to the bottom line to make there dividends larger. When Sprint cut the national roaming agreement their shares jumped in value. Not because they were investing in their network but because they were not spending that money and the customers were still paying the same price.Sprint was one of the largest Companies to enter the cell phone market 16 years ago and they have always done only what it takes to get by.

Thank you very much for saying that. I agree with 100%.

I replied to this thread way before. I haven’t noticed any improvement with Sprint’s signal. In fact, I’ve called them to complain about it and they said the signal in my office should be good and that it’s possible the building I work in might have done something with the walls or insulations. I doubt it.

I think it could be one of three possibilities:

1. Maybe the deals with Sprint’s roaming agreements coming to and end and they’re not really allowed to hijack Verizon’s network.

2. Could be the ROM I’m using and it did something with the signal.

3. Maybe Froyo did something with the signal. I never had a signal issue with Android 2.1 and everything hit the ****ter when I upgraded.

Whatever it may be, it’s annoying and really killing my battery. I don’t want to have to keep using Roam Control to make my signal stable.

Try to get another modem. It may be the problem. I agree with you. Sprint has not improved its Network yet. They are working on it. It takes time. I am going to keep my wonderful Epic for a long time. I still have the EC05 modem. It is working so so. I keep using Roam Control all day long.:p
