Is T-mobile Note4/NoteEdge going skip 5.1.1 ?

Today saw the news that T-mobile is going to support Marshmallow (link below) for both Note4 & Note edge, but there is no information about 5.1.1 update. If this is true then we have to survive with buggy 5.0 until we get 6.0 which may take 6 months or more. Do you guys see the same? . Any thoughts

I have the Verizon variant. I am almost of the mindset that the rest of the carriers that haven't updated to 5.1.1. will go straight to 6.0 and see what that brings. At least, that's my own hypothesis.

We are still supposed to get it according to the T-Mobile software update page. The Note Edge and Note 4 are still showing as being in manufacturer development. Maybe we'll get it before the end of the summer.

Verizon beat T-MOBILE wrt updates. Things are getting better at Verizon
