Is that the new Apple watch?

Lol thought I'd share my chuckles and giggles that occur every couple of days when an iPhone user walks up to me and asks "is that the new Apple watch"? " how do you like it" I say no this is the original Samsung Galaxy Gear watch I've had it for over a year.

They look less interested after that but still ask me questions regarding the usefulness of a smartwatch. I explain it counts my steps, syncs my workouts, media control, notification, quick reply to messages, answer calls, ignore calls, finds my phone when I misplace it and Oh yeah tells the time. Lol, I guess my old Sammy watch that's been forgotten by the masses is helping Apple sale it's own version, because it seems as though many people think all smartwatches are now Apple watches.

Isn't that the most annoying thing in the world!!! I get like at least two a day...... 3 years old technology people..... Apple really brain wash people and they act like smartwatches was never invented until Apple come out if thiers.

I get it too. I'm starting to just answer yes followed by it sucks. Doesn't do anything. Since my gear 2 is gold colored some of them think it is the uber expensive real gold apple watch LOL.

Same thing happened to me with a girl at work. She said "Oh my other half is desperate to get an Apple Watch" and I said "How much is it ?". She said "about £500" and I said "You could buy this watch and a Note 4 for less than that! ".
