I am looking to buy an S3 around sept 1 but i am not sure if i should get 16 or 32. I am going with white for sure. I want to wait for the new nexus device to come out but i don't think i can stand iOS that much longer

Cheers!

id say only get the 32gb if youre a big gamer mate. u can save music/vids to external sd card so the internal memory is mostly for apps

If you're gonna be downloading big sized apps like infinity blade and fifa, probably yes.

Ive downloaded quite a bit of not-so-big apps, and im not even halfway with my storage, on a 16gb model!

I am not a big gamer on my phone. I was thinking more media, movies and music. I think the 16gb should be perfect along with a 64gb card. Thanks everybody!!

For me I was able to afford the extra $50 for the peace of mind that I'll have enough internal memory space.

I bought the 16gb and put the 16gb card that came with my old lg spectrum in so I'm good lol

I got the 32GB because on my last phone (Nexus S) I got upto 13GB of 16GB used. I always thought it's better to have more space than you need instead of not enough. And 32GB wasn't that much more money.

Plus I was worried about using an SD card slowing the phone down.

Having a SD card doesn't slow the phone down having the wrong SD card might

It's cheaper to buy a micro sd card that you can take with you than pay 100 or more for internal storage

NOT sent from a IPHONE :-)

I think having the 32 one is better. I hv both and one has a 16 san disk card type 4 and my 32 has a 64 type 10 pny card. Which runs super dooper fast.. The type of class on the card will make the phone run slower ir faster

they probably arent but having an sd card in the phone wont slow anything else down

Yes the make and model of the sd card will make the phone run faster or slower. Also the class of the card.. Its best to get a class 10 card

only while the phone is reading from the card or the phone in general? i hav a crappy cheap 8gb sd in mine and it makes no difference to the phone speed weather i have it in or not

I can give a little insight for the sd card talk. From what I know, the class 10 cards are faster for the reading and writing of large files, such as HD video and high res pictures It's also better for taking pictures while recording video at the same time.

I belive the Class 4 and 6 cards are actually faster for random access and the reading/writing of smaller files, such as running apps on the SD card.
