Is the Atrix 2 worth the off-contract price?

He must live in Cali. We have that stupid law here that calls for us to pay sales tax on the full retail price when buying a phone at a contract rate. I know AT&T price matches, but do they still charge tax on the full retail price? Hmm...

Picked one up off eBay. First major eBay purchase. Everything worked out. I've had the phone a scant few hours but can already say I'm loving it. I'll miss webOS, but the range of things that can be done out of the box with this phone blows the pants off my old phone.

I wondered where you were this past week! You are right about how good this phone is. After 2.5 weeks, I am already convinced that when they have a real, working custom ROM for my touchpad, it is going over to Android, as well. There are so many things in webOS that we just learned to live with (or without) and every day, it seems, I find another one where Android does something the way it should have been in webOS!
