I downloaded the file but haven't updated yet. It is a manual installation.

OTA_Supersonic_3.26.651... it is 84.46mb

This would not install for me using Unrevoked 3 root. Might need to do the full root method.

Just sharing my experience.

On Phandroid they say to rename the file to "update.zip" but, when I go into recovery mode it doesn't show the update to apply???

well the file works, including flash and I don't see anything wrong with it.

Download the zip.
Rename to update.zip and place in the root of your sdcard.
restart phone and hold volume down + power button.
Press recovery in the menu
Red exclamation point graphic is shown on screen.
Press volume up + power button to enter recovery mode.
go to the update option to update from sdcard: update.zip
wait for it to finish and don't touch phone

make sure you are plugged in to charger.

I just installed it but now my phone just keeps rebooting. Hoping that its just what its supposed to be doing but if not someone let me know.

I'm following your method but when I select recovery then hold power+up, I don't get the red exclamation symbol. Can you help?

It should work after you see the htc evo 4g screen. just hold it until you seen the warning screen
