Is the EVO too big for a belt holster?

First: you don't need the belt clip to look like the cleansing product previously mentioned because the bold typeface effectively does that for you.

Writermind, I am unsure if you are new to the net but could you please not bold everything you type, it is kind of bad netiquette. Your message bleeds into your sig and bold is hard to read for the entire message. The only thing worse is typing in all caps.

FWIW I really like a belt holster. They don' t look that bad depending on the style and where you wear it etc... I prefer a horizontal one clipped to my belt, does not hang down as much, looks better.
Protecting the phone comes first, besides, I am 6'4" and 240 lbs so I can pull it off ii

Ironically I have my Palm Pre in a case similar to that one but made for an HP PDA! We come full circle.

I have an Incipio case for my Pre now which is like that. Everytime I take the device out, the screen gets a good cleaning.

Interesingly enough, the Palm case which I purchased the day I got my Pre was so tight, it wore a hole in the Invisible Shield I had placed on my Pre!

I'm anxious to see what kind of cases, pouches get developed for the EVO, but no matter what comes out I'm stuck on Invisible Shield. Best product on the planet for protecting your devices from scratches and buffing.

+1 on that, as I love the Spring Loaded (non-audio port) case for my Pre ...

I have issues with Sprint and my phone in my pocket when it comes to service, usually goes into roam at my job, but when in the belt case it works fine .... spotty Sprint service sometimes sucks like that ....

By not observing netiquette, you simply pre-empt the reader's perception, by making them assume you are immature or inexperienced with forum posting. Not saying that you are, but simply that it is a loaded deck against you before anyone even reads the content of your posts.

It's not a big issue like you suggested. I simply apply a filter in my brain and automatically conclude that a post with all caps, cursing, leet-speak (however, this can be funny in the right context), bold, italics, large fonts, and pretty much anything obnoxious, is probably a post with zero value and I don't bother reading it.

I am a member of several discussion boards and me typing in bold has never been an issue before.

I've been doing it for a long time and so didn't think twice about doing it here, not anticipating this would be such a huge dealbreaker for people. I still don't see what the major issue is personally.

All due respect, If me typing in bold makes you not want to read what I've posted, feel free to skip it.

I prefer to take the time to read a post to see if it actually has value as opposed to trying to determine that based on whether its bolded or not.

No holsters for me, I don't care for the look and they once in a while dig into my hip while sitting. I typically like a naked phone.

for me i need something to hold the phone ... some people say hold it or put in your pocket ... for one the phone is a pain in the ass to get in and out of your pocket when u are sitting ... and for me i use the phone as a media player and carry it in the gym when working out ... so putting it in jogging pants or shorts pocket while running around or laying on benches, there is a great chance of the device falling out ...

in general summer time i need a holster allot more all the time .. during the winter u can get away with putting the phone in your coat pocket but i still need holster for the gym ...

there seems to be allot of official cases coming out for the EVO so we will see shortly ... i for one have used sedio for years on all my devices and they always did the job .. i am more into the plastic holsters then the leather ones ... the leather ones or cool to wear to work .. but out and about on the town and at the gym ... to me .. no go !
